Industrial technician / CNC turning operator sought for Mark & Wedell A/S in Kvistgård

On behalf of Mark & Wedell A/S in Kvistgård, Temp-Team is seeking an industrial technician or machine operator for their production.

The position is particularly relevant for you who have practical experience with CNC turning and would like to develop further in setup, programming and machining.

Mark & Wedell works with special tasks, larger components and small batches, where quality, technical understanding and practical experience are in focus.

About the job

You will be working with two 3-axis Okuma turning lathes, where depending on the tasks you either operate both machines simultaneously or work with one machine at a time.

The workpieces vary from about 200 to 800 mm in diameter and up to 400 mm in length, giving you a varied workday with different types of tasks.

You will have the opportunity to work across the whole process – from preparing raw material and setup to programming, machining and inspection of the finished product.

You don't need to know it all from the start. The company is prepared to train you and build on your existing skills. The most important is that you have experience with CNC turning, technical understanding and a willingness to learn. In time you will have the opportunity to work more independently with the whole process, including ISO programming and adaptation of CNC programs directly at the machine.

Your responsibilities

• CNC turning of larger workpieces.
• Operation of two 3-axis Okuma turning lathes.
• Preparation of raw materials, setup and loading of workpieces.
• Programming and adjustment of CNC programs directly at the machine.
• Tool selection and adjustment of the machining.
• Inspection and quality control.
• Work with single parts and small batches.

Who are you?

We would like you to be educated as an industrial technician or machine operator and have experience with CNC turning.

In addition, we emphasize that you

• Have practical experience with CNC turning and an understanding of machining.
• Have technical understanding and be able to read technical drawings.
• Experience with setup, programming or program adjustment at the machine is preferred.
• Keen to develop your skills and learn new processes.
• Are quality-conscious, practically oriented and take responsibility for your work.

Experience with Okuma controls is an advantage but not required. If you have experience with other CNC controls such as Mazak, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Doosan or similar, we would also like to hear from you.

The most important is that you have a solid foundation in CNC turning and the motivation to develop further.

Monday–Thursday 07:00–15:30 and Friday 07:00–12:00.
