About the job

Innovative and experienced nurse for Åsumgruppen

Are you a professionally strong nurse who loves working with the complex citizen and creating value for the individual citizen? Do you see the value in, and are you motivated by, advancing the citizen’s rehabilitation in close collaboration with relatives and colleagues? And would you actively participate in further building our culture around specialized knowledge, interprofessional sparring, competence development and shared learning? Then you may very well be the nurse we are looking for.

Three good reasons to start in Åsumgruppen

  • You get to shape your workplace and you will be involved in development processes
  • You come to a workplace where professionalism is in the foreground – both mono- and interprofessional
  • Our area is specialized, and we are skilled in rehabilitative efforts for the individual citizen

About us

Åsumgruppen  is a visiting home care group organized in pathways for acquired brain injury and consists of 50 competent colleagues, spread across nurses, social and health assistants, helpers, occupational and physiotherapists as well as students. In daily life we are divided into 4 fixed interdisciplinary teams, where we work together from a rehabilitative approach.

We visit about 250 citizens. Our citizen group primarily consists of citizens who are challenged by  mental illness ,  acquired  or  congenital brain injury as well as other physical or social challenges.

About the job

As a nurse in Åsumgruppen we offer you a daily life where the days are never the same and the complexity of the tasks ranges widely. With the citizen at the center of your task solving you are focused on relationship work with both the citizens and the relatives.

You have a strong focus on professionalism, rehabilitation and good collaboration across professions, where we together solve the core task.

We offer

  • An varied, challenging and exciting job
  • Good conditions for mono- and interprofessional sparring in your own group, and in other groups in the same pathway
  • A workplace with engaged, positive and professionally competent staff
  • A workplace that is in development, open to new initiatives, with good opportunities for developing professional and personal competences
  • A thorough and structured introduction. We have chosen you, and therefore invest the resources necessary to equip you for the core task
  • Weekend shift every 4th weekend

About you

You are passionate about applying your professional skills and developing yourself in the area of mental illness, acquired and/or congenital brain injury, where you are especially motivated by building meaningful relationships – both to the citizens and especially to the relatives, who are particularly important in our process.

In addition, you thrive in an interdisciplinary environment, which characterizes both our group and the other professional units we collaborate with. In the citizen-centered nursing in Odense Municipality, it is essential that you have the willingness and ability to take on the coordinated role in the interprofessional setting.

We also expect

  • A relevant educational background as a nurse
  • Possible experience from a similar position – though not a requirement, as we are happy to support your professional education and development within our specialty
  • Responsibility for the core task, professionalism, colleagues and the individual citizen
  • A desire to be part of a staff group where we take care of each other professionally and socially
  • You are comfortable with taking professional responsibility in your work and in a busy daily life and can navigate both planned and acute tasks
  • Can delegate, organize and provide nursing in cooperation with other professional groups
