About the job

Could you be our new colleague in a clinic where professional expertise, camaraderie and well-being go hand in hand!? Then read on…

We are looking for an engaged nurse for a permanent position with start on 1 December 2026 or as agreed.

The position is initially 37 hours/week with working hours on weekdays between 7:15 and 15:30 – on some days until 18:45.

At the Ear, Nose, Throat and Eye Clinic we offer a work environment characterized by good collaboration, strong collegial community and great engagement in solving our tasks.

We are proud of our high professional standard and efficient treatment pathways, where the patient is always at the center. This is reflected, for example, in the National Patient Experience Survey, where we have received very favorable feedback for several years in a row.

As our new colleague, you will become part of this and a team that values a strong collegial community, where we support one another and nurture job satisfaction and the development of the department.

If you dream of being part of this and having a daily routine filled with professional challenges and great colleagues, we look forward to hearing from you.

About the clinic

The Ear, Nose, Throat and Eye Clinic is a well-functioning and busy department with 17 nurses. We are a shared clinic where we treat diseases within the areas of Ophthalmology as well as ENT. Some nurses work across specialties and others specialize in a single field.

We offer patients pre-examinations, surgeries and subsequent follow-ups if necessary.

We work on developing our tasks and have, among other things, implemented telephone consultations by nurses prior to tonsillectomy and actively work with digital patient pathway guides for our patient journeys.

We have a clinical supervisor attached to the department who has overall responsibility for the department's students.

We have good multidisciplinary collaboration with, among others, our service assistants as well as doctors.

Clinic facilities

ENT clinic has 2 clinics and 2 operating rooms where operations are performed for benign ear, nose and throat diseases.

Eye clinic has 3 clinics and 2 operating rooms where patients are treated for cataracts, aftercare and external eye diseases.

On average, we see about 65 patients daily across the two specialties.

Your tasks

Your tasks will primarily be in the ENT specialty, however there is an expectation that you will be trained in ophthalmology over time so you can work across both areas.

You will participate in both clinical and surgical functions, so you can contribute to the entire patient pathway.

Ear, Nose, Throat and Eye Clinic offers

  • A responsible, challenging and varied job, with good opportunities to further develop within the specialties.
  • A high nursing professional level, where engaged and dedicated colleagues reflect on our shared practice.
  • Focus on interdisciplinary team collaboration, where a positive attitude contributes to both staff well-being and good patient pathways.
  • Excellent, thorough onboarding and introduction based on your professional qualifications and experience.
  • Influence on work schedules via the app: “My Plan”.

We are looking for you who

  • Have experience within our specialties and a solid foundation in both outpatient and operative aspects.
  • Thrive in a changing daily routine with many patient contacts.
  • Are skilled at communicating with and involving patients and relatives based on their prerequisites.
  • Have an interest and flair for handling technical equipment.
  • Are a good colleague who brings a positive approach to tasks and contributes to a good and respectful work community.
