Nursing in the citizen's home calls for clinical competences, relationship work, independence and good decisions close to the citizen. But high quality is rarely produced alone. With us the nurses are gathered, and professional sparring, reflection and shared responsibility for citizen pathways are a natural part of everyday life. We believe that the best clinical assessments are made when experienced colleagues use each other's knowledge, challenge each other's perspectives and raise professionalism in collaboration. This strengthens both the individual nurse and the nursing we provide.

We believe that good leadership happens in everyday life and in the interplay between leader and employees. As a leader I would like to know my employees and their everyday life. I want to know what works, what challenges you, and how we can develop and improve the nursing together.

You should experience that there is a short path to sparring, decisions and help when you need it.

What can you bring?

You are very welcome to have knowledge of municipal nursing from previous employment. We also have experience with integrating new colleagues who only have regional experience, and here we greatly value the expertise they bring.

We educate many nursing students. Further education as a clinical supervisor is therefore a very attractive competence.

We expect an increased focus on competencies including dementia, basic palliative care and complex wound care. If you have experience and/or further education in this, you will certainly be able to bring it into play here.

Flexible working frameworks and good development opportunities

The work is exciting, but we know there is life outside the job. The working hours are normally 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. on weekdays and a weekend shift every 4th weekend. We have skilled planners who work hard to organize days with as much continuity and consistent balance as possible.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and with the Ny Løn principles. Saturday and Sunday allowances are paid. In Gentofte Municipality there is a general policy that a criminal record check must be presented when employed in the elderly care area. Gentofte Home Care is a smoke-free workplace.
