Then you may be the person we are looking for as Insurance Manager for NCC Denmark.

As Insurance Manager you will have a central specialist role based in Søborg, reporting to our Legal Manager, Michael Lynge Hansen. You will become NCC’s insurance technical sparring partner and advisor for the organization across our construction and civil engineering projects. You will have overall responsibility for NCC’s local insurance program, including line management for one employee who also handles insurance-related tasks.

Your task is to ensure that insurance and risk matters are handled professionally, pragmatically and business-near, so that the projects receive the best possible support throughout the project lifecycle.

A specialist role with great influence

Insurance is a specialist area, but success in the role largely involves translating expertise into concrete recommendations and solutions that make sense to colleagues on our construction and civil engineering projects in production. You will be the link between the business, insurance brokers, insurance companies and other partners.

Your primary areas of responsibility

You will have a broad and varied role, including

• Advise the organization on insurance and risk matters in the tender, contract and execution phases on NCC’s construction projects
• Provide internal sparring and support regarding insurance requirements, client requirements and contractual risks
• Manage claims and indemnity cases and assist colleagues in production throughout the process
• Coordinate and develop NCC Denmark’s insurance program in collaboration with insurance brokers and insurance companies, including NCC Forsikring
• Ensure effective policy management and insurance administration
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the organization.

Professional qualifications

• Have experience in a similar function in a larger contracting company, an broker house or from a company with its own insurance program
• Have solid experience with commercial insurance and facilitating claims handling
• Have experience advising internal or external stakeholders
• Have an understanding of contractual matters and risk assessment
• Have an interest in or experience from construction, civil engineering or another project-oriented company.

• You are able to translate complex insurance-related issues into clear and understandable language
• You are a relationship builder and build trust at all levels of the organization
• You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• You have a sense of the business needs and understand how to balance expertise with pragmatic solutions
• You thrive in a specialist role with extensive contact and many collaborators.
