About the job
Do you want to help find the funding that makes our business units' ambitions possible?
Erhvervshus Fyn is seeking an ambitious intern who wants to work with fundraising and project development for some of the initiatives that will help develop the future of Funen.
In Fundraising we identify funding opportunities and develop projects together with our business units Blue Tech Center, Destination Fyn, Consortia, Sparring, EcoLoop and GeoFyn.
As an intern you will be part of the work to obtain funding from Danish private funds through analysis of which funding opportunities fit which projects, and preparation of the concrete applications.
Your tasks
The tasks include
- Research of Danish grants: You analyze and keep an overview of which Danish private funds finance which initiatives
- Contributions to the development and qualification of new project ideas
- Preparation of project drafts in collaboration with the business units
- Screening of relevant funds
- Preparation of foundation applications including substantive content, framing and finances
- Working with project economics, budgets and funding models
You thus get the opportunity to follow the whole process from a strategic challenge or opportunity to a concrete, funded project .
Who are you?
Your exact degree title is not decisive.
You may, for example, study communication, administration, business economics, IT, financing, social science, innovation or project management at professional bachelor, bachelor or master level.
We especially envision that you
- are analytical and curious
- can understand complex material and extract the essential
- articulate yourself clearly and precisely in writing
- have a basic understanding of numbers and/or an interest in economics
- have a high “sense of urgency” and put pen to paper
- work in a structured way and can drive your own tasks forward
- are interested in how we ensure Funen becomes a better place to live, work and thrive
- are eager to learn how funds can play a central role in task solving
- it is an advantage if you have previously been involved in grant applications, e.g., through voluntary association work, but not a requirement
We expect you to be curious, take responsibility and want to be professionally challenged.
What you get with us
You won't be an onlooker intern. You will be part of the team and will work on real projects and funding opportunities that make a real difference for our business units.
We offer
- concrete tasks and responsibilities
- close professional sparring
- hands-on experiences in professional project development and fundraising
- collaboration with our business units
- opportunity to work with current business and societal challenges
- a large professional and academic network
- Paid lunch in our canteen
The internship will be arranged so that it fits both the requirements of your education, your academic interests and our current projects and tasks after further agreement.
