Internal nursing substitutes sought for multidisciplinary holistic care teams on Toldbodgade in Silkeborg

In Helhedsplejen Toldbodgade we are in an exciting development, as on 31 August 2026 we organized ourselves into 5 multidisciplinary holistic care groups: Bakken, Midtbyen, Banen, Sydbyen and Fælles Nat. In this context we are seeking engaged nursing interns who see value in the interdisciplinary collaboration across the holistic care groups and shift teams.

As a nursing intern, you will have independent responsibility, close interdisciplinary collaboration, and colleagues who are always ready for sparring. You will be part of a development-oriented community where we work closely across professional groups – always with our citizens at the centre. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with person-centered care, contribute to building a new professional culture and structure, and help set the direction for how we together solve the core task.

Who are we?

Helhedsplejen Toldbodgade handles holistic care for citizens in Silkeborg City Centre, Århusbakken and Sydbyen.

We are now in the midst of an exciting development, where we are establishing multidisciplinary teams consisting of social and health care assistants, social and health helpers, nurses and therapists. Together we work according to the principles of holistic care with a focus on rehabilitation, person-centered care and high professional quality. We are building a professional culture where binding work communities are the foundation for quality, well-being and responsibility.

As a nursing intern you will have independent health professional responsibility for selected citizens. At the same time you will be part of a strong interdisciplinary community with good opportunities for sparring with colleagues; including nurses, therapists and our competence nurse.

We prioritise professional reflection and collaboration highly. Therefore we have, among other things:

• Daily meetings on early detection, where you as a nurse have a central role.
• Weekly interprofessional DTR meetings focusing on rehabilitation and health-related issues.
• Citizen conferences, training and professional meetings.
• A strong learning environment with pupils and students.

With us you do not have to stand alone. We help each other and lift the tasks together.

Your primary tasks

• Nursing professional activities for citizens in their own homes.
• Coordination of coherent and holistic citizen pathways.
• Work with a person-centered approach in practice.
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration in the holistic care groups.
• Sparring and professional development in teams.
• Documentation and quality assurance.

We are looking for a colleague who

• Is a licensed nurse.
• Thrives with independent responsibility, and takes responsibility for the core task and the community.
• Wishes to contribute to a positive and safe working environment.
• Has interest in or experience with mentally vulnerable citizens.
• Passionate about person-centered care and relational work.
• Thrives in development and can contribute to a new culture and structure.
