Do you want an internship that gives you both professional challenges, hands-on experience and a strong sense of community? As an intern at LINAK you will become part of a unique intern network and have the opportunity to work professionally with UX/UI in an international company.

Each semester we welcome 20–25 interns from different study areas. You will become part of the LINAK family and will work closely with skilled colleagues. There is the possibility to work with both larger and smaller tasks, all arising from real challenges in value-creating projects.

About the internship – UX/UI

As a UX/UI intern at LINAK you will have the opportunity to design user-friendly online solutions.

You will be part of the entire design process – from insight and analysis to UI design, interactions and implementation – and you will gain insight into how UX and UI are applied in practice in a larger international company.

Tasks may include

• Design and further development of user interfaces (UI) for our online and digital platforms
• Creation of wireframes, prototypes and visual designs in Figma,
• Work on creating designs and components within our design system and brand guidelines
• Work analytically with design, based on personas, user journeys, flows and interaction design
• Ongoing improvement of both UX and UI based on user and business feedback
• Visualization, prototyping and testing of new design concepts

Depending on your interests you may also have the opportunity to

• Design of modern UI animations
• Build frontend solutions in JavaScript/Typescript/CSS
• Analyze behavioral patterns and develop new user insights
• Set up and structure design solutions in a CMS

About you

To create the best possible match, we would like to know what motivates you about UX/UI and digital design. You do not need to know everything beforehand – the most important is that you:

• are pursuing a relevant education e.g. Interaction Design, Digital Design, IT & Design, Multimedia Designer
• see opportunities rather than limitations
• desire hands-on experience and a steep learning curve
• have a positive and approachable attitude
• can view problems from multiple perspectives
• are motivated by professional challenges
