IPS consultant for UngeSporet – towards work and education

Would you like to help create concrete opportunities for young people in Brønderslev Municipality?

Job- og UngeCenteret seeks one experienced IPS consultant who will strengthen our existing IPS team and help more young people get closer to work and education.

We believe that all young people have resources and possibilities. We are looking for you who can build relationships, see opportunities and translate the young people's wishes into concrete results.

The position is to be filled by February 1, 2027 and is temporary until December 31, 2028.

About Ungeløftet, UngeSporet and Job- and Youth Center

Ungeløftet is a nationwide partnership to help more young people into work, education and meaningful communities.

In Brønderslev Municipality we call our local effort UngeSporet – towards work and education . We collaborate with companies, associations, voluntary organizations and other actors to create more opportunities for young people.

As part of Ungeløftet we have received funding for IPS and Flere unge skal med, and we now want to strengthen our IPS team further.

You will become part of the Job- and UngeCenteret, which has about 130 employees working with employment, education and social interventions. We work across professional boundaries to create coherent pathways and good solutions for citizens.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience with the IPS method, can translate it into practice and work independently from the start.

• See the young person's resources rather than letting diagnoses and challenges define the possibilities.
• Can create trustworthy relationships and meet young people with respect, curiosity and clarity.
• Have experience with collaboration with businesses and with creating concrete opportunities for work and education.
• Can collaborate across disciplines and organizations.
• Work independently, take initiative and follow up on your appointments.

Your task – IPS in practice

IPS stands for Individually Planned Job with Support and is an evidence-based method that starts from the young person’s own wishes and goals for work or education.

You will become part of an existing IPS team with two consultants. Together you shall help more young people to find and maintain ordinary work or education.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• Support young people in achieving their goals of work or education.
• Establish contact with companies and translate the young people's wishes into concrete job opportunities.
• Follow up on the young people's courses and support them to maintain work or education.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, social psychiatry and relevant professionals.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Job- and UngeCenteret, including employment officers, mentors and business consultants.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of IPS as part of UngeSporet.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement.

Salary is set based on qualifications and experience and negotiated with the union.
