IT Security Specialist

Do you want to help build and strengthen information security in a Danish manufacturing organization in growth?

We are looking for a structured and responsible IT Security Specialist who will help develop and anchor our work with information security, cyber security, and risk management.

You will become part of Nammo Denmark A/S in Elling, where you will have a central role in translating security requirements into concrete processes, controls and solutions. You will work closely with the local IT team, the Nammo group, management and the organization’s other functions to ensure a robust and well-documented approach to information security.

Your role

You report to the IT Manager and will be the primary contact for information security in Nammo Denmark. You will be responsible for coordinating security-related activities, supporting risk management and ensuring that relevant internal requirements, customer requirements, regulatory requirements and group standards are translated into practice.

The position combines ongoing security tasks with establishing and improving processes.

A small IT team with broad responsibility

You will become part of a very small local IT team where you will have an independent professional area of responsibility within information security. At the same time, you must be prepared to collaborate broadly and help with IT tasks that arise in day-to-day operations – even when they lie outside your primary specialist area. In a small team there is no possibility to have local specialists within all IT disciplines, and therefore flexibility and a practical approach to tasks are important.

The professional sparring within your more specialized areas will largely come through collaboration with the Nammo group’s international IT organization and relevant professional networks. In return, you will have the opportunity to build and shape the information security area locally from the outset.

Your main tasks

Information security and risk management

• Conduct risk assessments and evaluations of information security.
• Evaluate user rights, technical logging, backups and security measures.
• Coordinate supplier controls, vulnerability assessments and user training.
• Translate relevant requirements, including NIS2 and ISO 27001, into concrete security measures.

Processes, policies and documentation

• Develop and maintain procedures, guidelines and governing documents within information security.
• Establish and improve processes for user access, onboarding/offboarding, risk assessment and supplier requirements.
• Contribute to the development of crisis plans and emergency procedures.
• Ensure documentation and systematic follow-up on controls and security activities.

Collaboration and advisory

• Advise IT, OT, management and the business on information security, cyber security and risks.
• Collaborate with the Nammo group on shared security requirements and initiatives.
• Map connections between business processes, systems, information and security requirements.
• Contribute to secure application management and ongoing improvements across the IT domain.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a relevant higher education within IT, information security, cyber security or a related area, for example cand.it , cand.merc.it or an engineering degree.

You typically have 3-5 years of experience with information security, governance, compliance or cyber security. It is an advantage if you have experience from production or critical infrastructure, knowledge of NIS2 and ISO 27001, and an understanding of the interaction between IT and OT.

You are familiar with digital systems, technical documentation and Microsoft Office and you master Danish and English, both spoken and written.

You must be able to present a clean criminal record and obtain security clearance.
