About the job

Do you want to keep IT running smoothly as MyDefence continues to grow? Reliable and responsive IT support is essential to our daily operations.

Our colleagues need the right equipment, access and support to work effectively and securely – whether they are based in Denmark or at one of our international locations.

We are looking for an IT-Supporter who enjoys helping people and solving the IT challenges that come with a busy workday. You combine technical understanding with a strong service mindset, take ownership of issues and communicate clearly with the people you support. Whether it is a laptop, Microsoft 365, access rights or something entirely different, you enjoy finding practical solutions and getting things working again.

You will join our IT & Security department and become an important point of contact for more than 160+ colleagues across MyDefence. Based at our office in Nørresundby, you will provide both onsite and remote support and work closely with the rest of the IT & Security team to help maintain a reliable and secure IT environment across the organisation.

What you will do

Your day-to-day work will cover a broad range of IT support tasks. You will be one of the first points of contact when colleagues need IT assistance, while also supporting onboarding, equipment and access management and helping us maintain a secure and well-functioning IT environment.

User support and troubleshooting

  • Provide daily IT support to colleagues in Denmark and across our international locations, both onsite and remotely.
  • Troubleshoot issues with computers, mobile devices, printers, networks, Microsoft 365, access rights and business applications.
  • Handle support requests efficiently and professionally, with a strong focus on finding practical solutions for the user.

Onboarding, equipment and access management

  • Prepare laptops, mobile phones, accessories and software for new colleagues.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding by creating, updating and closing user accounts and access rights.
  • Keep track of IT assets and make sure equipment is documented, updated and ready for use.

Systems, security and compliance

  • Support the administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management and other internal IT systems.
  • Help ensure that devices, users and systems follow our internal IT security policies and best practices.
  • Keep IT documentation, procedures and support guides accurate and up to date.

Service improvement and collaboration

  • Work closely with the IT & Security team to solve issues, improve processes and support ongoing IT initiatives.
  • Identify recurring support issues and suggest practical improvements that reduce disruptions and improve efficiency.
  • Work with colleagues and external suppliers to resolve support cases and coordinate IT-related tasks.

Who we are looking for

You have a solid foundation in IT support and enjoy using your technical knowledge to solve IT challenges. You may have a relevant IT education or certification, or you may have gained your experience through an IT support, helpdesk or service desk role. What matters most is that you have hands-on experience with IT support and are motivated to keep developing your skills.

We imagine that you bring

  • Experience supporting Windows laptops, mobile devices, printers, Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
  • A good understanding of user administration, access management, device setup and basic network troubleshooting.
  • A structured approach to troubleshooting and the ability to follow issues through to resolution.
  • The ability to explain technical issues clearly and practically to colleagues with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken.

Who you are

You work in a structured and systematic way, pay attention to detail and are comfortable keeping track of multiple tasks at the same time. You are self-driven, take ownership of your responsibilities and plan your work effectively, while also being curious and keen to learn.

We see you as someone who

  • Takes responsibility and follows tasks through to completion, keeping deadlines and priorities on track.
  • Stays organised and maintains a clear overview, even when priorities shift or someone needs help quickly.
  • Works independently while knowing when to involve colleagues or ask for input.
  • Takes a systematic approach to both day-to-day operations and documentation.
  • Is curious, eager to learn and interested in developing both your technical and support skills.
  • Enjoys collaborating with colleagues across teams, locations and time zones

What you get

At MyDefence, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in a role that gives you exposure to a broad range of IT tasks and technologies. You will be trusted with responsibility from the start, while having experienced colleagues around you to collaborate with and learn from.

As we continue to grow, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to how we develop our internal IT support. We value people who take initiative, share knowledge and look for better ways of doing things, so there is room for you to bring your ideas, develop your technical skills and grow with the role.

What we stand for

At MyDefence, we live by a shared set of values that guide us – both in how we do business and in our everyday interactions as colleagues. These values are our compass, ensuring that we move toward the same goal with courage, execution, and care.

We Dare (Courage)

We challenge the status quo, embrace new ideas, and have the courage to make decisions that move us forward.

We Do (Execution)

We take ownership, deliver on our commitments, and turn ideas into action.

We Care (I Am Your Wing(wo)man)

We support one another, succeed as a team, and build strong relationships based on trust and respect.
