About the job

If you deliver excellent IT support and want to be an important part of ensuring that PCs, mobile devices, printers, IT systems and networks run smoothly at the Regional Hospital in Gødstrup, then we have just the job for you.

Are you also flexible, service-minded and able to handle a frequently changing daily life with equal parts planned, exciting, challenging, cross-functional, spontaneous, urgent, simple and chaotic tasks? If so, read on here, if you are ready to seize every opportunity to become part of one of the country’s largest digitisation and IT departments in a dynamic Mobile Support team.

Second-line on-site support with close collaboration

As an IT support person you will provide second-line "on-site" support in cooperation with our central Service Desk and colleagues from other groups in the Mobile Support team. We manage all our tasks via a shared ITSM system (ServiceNow).

The job as IT supporter consists of three main tasks

  • Setting up new equipment and lifecycle replacement of equipment
  • Preparation of computers with Software Central using the SCCM user interface.
  • Setting up new IT workstations, video conferencing systems and printers, including registration in CMDB.
  • Lifecycle replacement of old computers, screens and printers.
  • Support-operations tasks (incidents and requests)
  • Resolving faults on computers, screens, printers, mobile devices and tablets, wifi access points, video conferencing systems, welcome stations, call boards, etc.
  • Delivery of IT services related to the above.
  • Participation in IT projects
  • Roll-out of new IT systems and technologies, e.g. Windows 11.
  • Major and minor relocation tasks where a department needs to move premises.
  • Support users during the adoption of new systems or after relocations.

The day-to-day awaits you

You will become part of the Mobile Support area, where we are about 40 employees. In collaboration with our Service Desk, we solve cases for Region Midtjylland's users at hospitals, administrations and institutions.

You can expect an exciting and challenging job where no two days are alike. It requires that you are an independent IT supporter who can work in a structured way, maintain an overview, and keep a cool head when things move fast - which happens often with us.

To be considered, you need at least an IT support qualification or a comparable technical education at bachelor level or higher.

We are looking for you who has

  • Solid experience from a support organization.
  • Experience with deploying software from a central system to computers and mobile devices.
  • General knowledge of the Office suite, Windows OS, Active Directory (AD), networks (wired and wireless) and the TCP/IP protocol.
  • Knowledge of or certification in ITIL as well as certification in Windows 10/11.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, Android and iOS.

It is also an advantage if you have a category B driving license and preferably your own car, so you can solve tasks at other locations and institutions as needed.

Collaborative, service-minded and professional

We help users across hospitals and units, and therefore it is important that you thrive with broad collaboration interfaces and various professional fields - both administrative and clinical. You meet people where they are, gain energy from user contact, and take professional pride in delivering competent and approachable support.

Are you interested?

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the Mobile Support area manager, Lars Axelsen, at 2475 0618.

Submit your application no later than 18 October. We expect to conduct interviews in week 43.

We look forward to welcoming you either on 1 December 2026 or 1 January 2027.

We place great emphasis on explaining in your application why you are passionate about delivering good IT support to users, what motivates you to apply for a job specifically at Region Midtjylland, and that you support your competencies with concrete examples. Feel free to show your relevant results in your CV, so we can not only see what you have done but also how well you have done it.

Flexible working life, ongoing development and good frameworks

You will experience a focus on you as an employee and as a person. We work with ongoing development conversations and regular 1:1 meetings with your immediate supervisor, so you always have a focus on your well-being and development. A good working life also means time for a life outside of work. Therefore, the hybrid and flexible working life is important to us; you have good opportunities to arrange your working day yourself and you can work from home when tasks permit.

As a new employee in our large organization we ensure a carefully planned onboarding process, where you, among other things, participate in our internal academy, where you get to know the entire organization better. We work to create the best framework so you can develop and strengthen your skills further.

The working week is 37 hours with a paid lunch break and good conditions.
