Jobcenter Greve is seeking an advisor to work with sick-listed citizens

Job content It is many diverse citizens and tasks you will have to work with, so it is absolutely an advantage if you have experience with and knowledge of the legislation and the possibilities to retain sick-listed citizens in the labor market. You must be able to collaborate and coordinate between different stakeholders and actors, including the sick-listed citizens' workplaces.

Essential for our work is that you are able to think in holistic terms, are skilled at communicating and documenting, and are keen to work in a job center where we focus on quality in conversations, strong social-work assessments, and targeted and effective processes for the individual citizen.

You will handle the case processing from start to finish, since a citizen as far as possible does not change advisor during their sick leave. This means you will have citizens on sickness benefits as well as in job clarification.

We work from a value that citizens themselves have influence and responsibility for their process. At the same time we are consistent and set requirements to the citizens, which in practice means you will have to be very clear in your approach to the citizen.

In Job and Social Services there is continually a focus on cross-cutting and holistic work. Fortunately, we are organized under the same management as the service, the specialized social area and the alcohol and drugs area. In addition, the Job Center's Active Offers are our main supplier and they deliver offers and company programs of high quality with a focus on progression and close follow-up.

The position is organized in the Retention Team, which already consists of 1 advisor in the sick pay and job clarification area, 2 benefits advisors, a professional coordinator and an administrative colleague. From the turn of the year, we organize ourselves together with the entire execution part. We span a wide range both in age and experience in the area – our newest colleague has 1 year of experience and the oldest has over 30 years of experience.

We place high priority on thorough onboarding of new colleagues; there will be primary training responsible persons, but all colleagues are available for you as a newcomer. Each semester we have social worker interns whom we learn a lot from.

About you You have a relevant social work education and perhaps come from a similar position where you have initiated employment-related offerings, focused on timeliness in your case processing, assessed incapacity to work and presented cases to the rehabilitation team.

You see the importance of and especially master documenting what works for sick-listed citizens and you thrive in the authority role.

At times you will be busy, so it's important that you understand how to solve your tasks in a balanced way. That is: correct and with a focus on efficient use of resources. Therefore you work in a structured, autonomous, systematic way, have a good overview and a high data discipline. IT solutions you see as an indispensable tool in task solving and you are prepared that there are continuous demands for self-service and the use of new solutions – both for you and the citizens. You are results-oriented and prepared that your efforts should lead to visible results.

We are in full swing to adapt to the upcoming employment reform and that work will come to occupy even more in 2027, so you must be prepared to participate in development work and for your practice and tasks to be continually adjusted

Salary and employment The position is 37 hours per week. It is desired to be filled as soon as possible. The salary is set after negotiation with your trade organization and the Ny Løn principles.
