About the job

Would you like to use your professional skills to make a difference for adults with acquired brain injury? And would you like to be part of a work community where we help each other, share knowledge and develop together?

Then you may be our new colleague at our specialized residential care for adults with acquired brain injury. We have vacancies with different hourly commitments and we are interested in hearing from you who are a pedagogue, social- and health-care assistant, nurse, physiotherapist or have another relevant professional background.

With us you get the opportunity to bring your professionalism and your experiences into play in a daily life where the residents' needs, wishes and possibilities are at the center.

About the job and everyday life

Our residential facility is centrally located in the town of Hedensted within walking distance of public transport. It is a 24-hour service with 10 apartments, and we provide support to the 10 residents as well as four non-resident citizens.

Your task is to support the citizens in living as independently and meaningfully as possible based on their own prerequisites, needs and desires. You will be part of a daily life with both pedagogical, practical, training and care tasks. Shopping and cooking together with the citizens is also part of the work.

We work from a neuro-pedagogical perspective and with a rehabilitative aim. The staff is multidisciplinary, and we work in teams with regular professional guidance and supervision.

What can you get with us?

  • A meaningful job with professional and personal challenges.
  • A well-structured introduction program that equips you for the task.
  • A multidisciplinary work community with skilled and helpful colleagues.
  • Mono- and multidisciplinary sparring on the core task.
  • Competence development and opportunity to develop your professional skills.
  • A good working environment that we value and prioritize highly.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has education and/or experience in the pedagogical or health-care field.
  • Wants to work with adults with significant physical and cognitive challenges. Preferably with experience in brain injury care.
  • Can work independently and translate professional knowledge into practice.
  • Is clear and present in interactions with the citizens and your colleagues.
  • Thrives with multidisciplinary collaboration and contributes with your professional skills and experiences.
  • Has a driver's license for a passenger car.

You do not need to be able to do everything from the start. The most important thing is that you want to contribute to the citizens' daily life and to a community where we help each other and lift the task together.

Practical information

The weekly hours of the positions will be set in collaboration with you. Some may be 37 hours and others may be less. Start date is 1 January 2027 or earlier, if possible.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement.

Application deadline: Tuesday 17 November at 12:00. Applications must be submitted via the link in the job advertisement.

If you want to know more, you are welcome to contact the department head Susanne Dideriksen at telephone 20 11 97 73 or email [email protected] .
