About the job

Are you passionate about communication, proactive by nature, and eager to work closely with both students and companies? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team of Career Ambassadors at ITU.

We are looking for motivated ITU students who want to help increase awareness of IT Match Making and ITU Career Weeks – two key events that connect ITU students with the job market and create tangible opportunities for future collaborations and career paths.

About the Role

  • Duration: January – March 2027

Your tasks will include promoting IT Match Making and Career Weeks through social media and targeted activities around ITU, such as staffing booths in the Atrium, class visits, and distributing materials. You will also act as a point of contact for some of the participating companies, ensuring smooth communication and a successful lead-up to the events.

On 18 March 2027, the day of IT Match Making, your tasks include being a host and provide practical support to make sure both students and companies have a great experience.

To prepare you for the role, we will host a kick-off meeting in January 2027, followed by regular check-ins with the other ITU Career Ambassadors.

You should expect to work approximately 25-40 hours in total from January through March 2027.

The position is paid on an hourly basis

Key Activities

  • 2-hour Kick-off meeting: Expected during week 2/3, 2027
  • Career Weeks: 9-18 March
  • IT Match Making: 18 March 2027
  • Evaluation after IT Match Making: Expected in week 12, 2027

What's in it for you

As an ITU Career Ambassador, you won’t just gain hands-on experience in event management and communication — you’ll also get a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of Denmark’s leading IT companies and expand your professional network.

You’ll become part of a motivated team of fellow ITU students, where you can develop your skills, take on responsibility, and make a real difference for your peers.

Who are you?

We welcome all students at ITU—regardless of background, experience, or personality type. We imagine you are an ITU student who wants to be a visible and active part of campus life. You are curious, approachable, and comfortable engaging with both students and companies, are flexible, and thrive with freedom and responsibility. Most importantly, you’re not afraid to step up and take initiative — whether that’s in a classroom or on a busy day in the Atrium. You are good at communicating and reach out when you need help.

Salary and terms of employment

The working hours are estimated to be between 25-40 hours in total.

The employment is in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and SUL. The salary is based on an hourly wage of 231,34 DKK (August 2026 level).
