Professionally exciting challenge - Port project in Greenland - DKK 400 million.

The job

KJ Greenland a/s shall deliver an expansion of the port in Nuuk and therefore needs you to help manage the construction process on site. You will be an important part of a strong team, and when the construction is handed over by the end of 2028, you can look forward to new and exciting projects at KJ Greenland.

You can look forward to taking on independent responsibility in close collaboration with an experienced construction management team, which you will also report to. A large part of your working day will be on the construction site to ensure ongoing control and follow-up on activities.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Planning and initiation of the individual trade contracts as well as ongoing performance management
• Holding construction meetings, safety meetings, supervision, etc.
• Ongoing dialogue with suppliers about material deliveries
• Coordination of the machinery fleet
• Follow-up on schedules and revisions as needed
• Financial management in close collaboration with the construction management
• Responsibility for quality assurance and self-inspection
• Participation in post-calculation and evaluation of the trade contracts
• Participation as a proactive team player in connection with the project handover to the right time and quality

Qualifications

You could be a recently graduated civil engineer with a strong appetite for adventure, big challenges and a steep learning curve. Or you may already have experience with contract and construction management and can document that you have independently and successfully managed trade contracts, both in terms of time, cost and quality.

You have a high work capacity, an overview, engagement and not least a strong work ethic. In addition, you have a positive approach to your tasks, and it is natural for you to lead and you can navigate when things do not always go as planned – because there will be construction both above and below water.
