Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have experience with

  • Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server technology package
  • Advanced SQL

Your new workplace

The Danish Defence Intelligence Service (FE) is Denmark’s foreign intelligence service and works – in secret and openly – to protect Denmark and Danish interests in a changing world.

We are not alone in protecting Denmark, but we are the only authority that has been mandated to use very special means to uncover what other states and foreign actors are trying to keep secret. It makes sense for us to contribute to peace, safety and security for Danes, both in the analog and the digital world, and we do this by uncovering, assessing, advising on and counteracting both current threats and threats in development.

We value the strength of our diversity with deep expertise and specialists and we are a very special and practically oriented knowledge organization, with many different tasks, but common to them all is the knowledge base that our intelligence work creates.

Your salary package depends on your qualifications

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant trade union, depending on your educational background. In addition, you have the opportunity to negotiate pay supplements based on qualifications. The average working time is 37 hours per week including a paid lunch break. The position includes a pension scheme paid by FE.

As an employee of FE you are subject to some special conditions. It is a requirement that you can be security-cleared and maintain the security clearance for the duration of your employment. As in the rest of the military, you may be required to be deployed abroad for short periods of time.

How to apply for the position

You must submit your application, CV and diploma from your education via the job posting, no later than 11 November 2026.
