Student job: Business Intelligence consultant

Do you want to work hands-on with data, Power BI and business development? Cand is recruiting on behalf of our new partner, an analytical and proactive student who will help build the company's BI setup from the ground up. You will play a central role in translating operational data and financial key figures into actionable insights that provide an overview of the company's development and support better business decisions.

The study job

You will be responsible for developing and structuring the company's reporting in Power BI. Based on existing data and insights, you shall create a complete overview of the company's operations, finances and development.

Your main tasks will be to

• Build Power BI reports from scratch with focus on revenue, costs, KPIs and the company's overall performance.
• Structure and visualise data from the company's disposition system, so that operational data is translated into concrete insights.
• Develop dashboards based on, among other things, existing Excel documents and create an overview of the company's finances.
• Analyse revenue and costs across orders and activities to identify what drives the business.
• Prepare forecasts and track KPIs, so the company has a better ability to understand development and plan ahead.
• Automate reporting, so data updates and monthly reports can increasingly be handled without manual processes.

The company

You will become part of a specialized service company that works with planning and coordination of maritime tasks. The company focuses on efficient operations and a solid financial overview, where data plays a more important role in supporting daily business and development.

You will have a close dialogue with your immediate supervisor, who prioritizes good sparring, thorough onboarding and good collaboration. You will therefore not be left to yourself, but will receive ongoing support and opportunities to develop your competencies along the way.
