Junior high-voltage engineers who want to develop professionally in complex energy systems

At Artelia we are looking for 1-2 junior high voltage engineers who want to develop professionally and become part of some of the most exciting energy and industrial projects in Denmark.

The position is aimed at you who are at the start of your career and who would like to work at the intersection of technical specialization and advisory services, and who are motivated by contributing to the green transition and a robust energy supply.

As a junior high voltage engineer at Artelia you will become part of a strong professional environment where you have the opportunity to build your technical understanding through concrete projects and close sparring with experienced colleagues. You will work with tasks within electrical installations in energy infrastructure and gradually take on more responsibility as you develop.

You will be introduced to a broad portfolio of energy systems – including power transmission, power distribution and power generation as well as cross-disciplinary projects in, among others, Power-to-X, Carbon Capture, electrification of industry and critical infrastructure. Your tasks will typically consist of technical support, calculations, documentation and contributions to the projects’ overall deliverables.

Our clients include utility companies, transmission and distribution companies, larger industrial companies, airports and data centers. You will gain insight into their needs and learn how we deliver qualified advisory services based on technical quality and collaboration.

High voltage – a specialized department with room to grow

The position is located in the High Voltage department in the Energy and Industry division, which together comprises about 130 employees.

You will become part of a dedicated team of six experienced colleagues who work with medium- and high-voltage installations. As a junior you will participate in projects with support from experienced specialists and have the opportunity to continuously develop your skills through sparring and practical experience.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who

• is a newly graduated engineer or has a couple of years of experience within electrical and/or high voltage
• has a basic understanding of electrical installations and an interest in designing power and low-voltage installations
• wants to work with technical calculations, documentation and learn to prepare specifications for projects and tenders
• is curious about developing your competences within the medium- and high-voltage area
• thrives in teams and collaborates with colleagues, clients and contractors
• is structured and solution-oriented with a focus on quality
• has good communication skills and can operate in Danish and/or English
• is motivated to learn, develop and contribute positively to the team.
• It is an advantage if you have an electrical-technical background such as electrician, marine engineer or electrical installer – or another relevant technical education.

Your tasks

• Planning and sizing of larger electrical installations and electrical installations in transformer stations, including station layout, cable, transformer and switchgear installations, relay protection and control systems
• Technical specifications and design of low-, medium- and high-voltage systems in energy and industrial projects
• Preparation of technical tender material for electrical installations, including electrical descriptions, diagrams, reports, drawings and requirements for execution, operation and maintenance of the installation
• Assistance with implementation, electrical supervision and follow-up on construction sites as well as testing and commissioning of electrical installations at high-, medium- and low-voltage levels
• Contributing actively to the department’s professional development and sparring for junior colleagues.
