About the job

About us

Tracked Biotechnologies builds AI and computer vision tools that turn ordinary video into objective health data. Our lead product, TrackedGait, measures how people walk from a short smartphone video. It needs no lab, no sensors and no specialist. A free version is already live on the App Store and Google Play. The same engine powers TrackedFlyBox, our automated phenotyping system, which research labs already use for drug discovery.

We are now adapting TrackedGait for children with cerebral palsy, so families and clinicians can follow gait at home between clinic visits.

Why this matters

Cerebral palsy is the most common motor disability in childhood, and gait is central to how clinicians plan and evaluate treatment. Today, detailed gait analysis happens in specialised motion capture labs, a few times a year at best. Between visits, families and clinicians have little objective data. A validated smartphone tool can change that: more frequent measurement, earlier signals and less travel for the child.

The role

You will join a small team in Copenhagen and work closely with our CEO, Michael Petr, PhD (aging research, computer vision and biomedical imaging), and our US engineers. Over a 12-month project, you will:

  • Build and improve our video-based gait models for children with cerebral palsy
  • Prepare and quality-check video and motion capture data for training and testing
  • Run comparisons against lab motion capture and report the results
  • Help turn the pipeline into a stable product for clinical pilots

You will own real parts of the pipeline from day one, and your work will go directly into clinical pilots with a partner hospital.

About you

  • Strong Python and hands-on experience with computer vision or machine learning on video
  • Comfortable working with real-world data and cloud computing
  • Clear communicator who can work independently in a small team
  • Eligible to work in Denmark

Nice to have

  • Experience with human pose or movement data, biomechanics or health data
  • Familiarity with GDPR and working with sensitive data
  • Danish language skills

What we offer

  • Work with clinical impact for children and their families
  • Direct access to the CEO and a team with deep experience in computer vision and biomedical research
  • Advisors from AI drug discovery and machine learning, including leaders from Insilico Medicine and ViQi
  • High ownership in an early-stage company, with the option to grow the role

Practical

  • Part-time, about 15–20 hours a week, with the option to grow
  • Start: early 2027, 12-month contract
  • Based in Copenhagen, with occasional work on site at a partner hospital in Denmark
  • The role is funded by an Innobooster project

Apply with your CV and a short note on a computer vision project you are proud of.
