About the job

We are looking for a skilled kindergarten class teacher for our 0th grade team.

As a kindergarten class teacher at Skjoldhøjskolen, you, together with your colleagues, will help give the children the best possible start to school life as well as memorable learning experiences. You shall contribute to creating a meaningful, safe, and educational everyday life for our 0th grade pupils.

You take pride in giving the youngest pupils the very best start to school life in an appreciative manner.

Our kindergarten class children must learn to take responsibility for themselves, co-responsibility for their learning, and to feel that they are part of a community where they meet empathy and feel safe.

You must have the desire and ability to contribute to a daily life characterized by

Your profile

We expect that you

• Can cooperate and communicate appreciatively with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Have a flair for classroom management and can build relationships
• Can create learning spaces for the pupils both indoors and outdoors
• Have experience using IT and can/are willing to learn to use AULA
• Can stand in front of larger assemblies such as parent meetings and similar events
• Are ready to contribute to the development of our kindergarten class offering
• Have knowledge of and preferably experience with beginning reading and early mathematics
• That you see each child as unique and as part of the community.
• Can include and embrace all children at the school – including those with challenges.

About us

Skjoldhøjskolen is located in a large housing estate called Skjoldhøjparken. We have 460 pupils, each with their own background. In addition, we have 12 special classes. This diversity is a resource that we see as something you will help bring into play. There are about 80 staff at the school, and we have close cooperation with the day care and the after-school club
