Kitchen Assistant FGU Nordvest - Thisted

At FGU Nordvest in Thisted we are seeking an engaged and practical employee for a part-time position of 15 hours per week.

The position combines cleaning tasks with participation in our kitchen community and gives you the opportunity to contribute to both a good learning environment and a positive community for our students.

We are looking for an employee who thrives with varied tasks, takes responsibility and wants to make a difference in the everyday life for young people.

The position consists of two different roles

Cleaning

Three days a week you will be responsible for cleaning our workshop building. The task amounts to about six hours per week in total, distributed over three days.

Here you contribute to our students and staff arriving to a safe, clean and inviting learning environment.

Kitchen and community

Wednesday and Friday you will be part of our kitchen team, where you work together with students and the responsible instructor on the daily kitchen operations.

Your tasks may include

• Assistance with cooking together with the students.
• Clearing up and cleaning in the kitchen.
• Washing up and handling of kitchen equipment.
• Practical tasks related to the day’s meals.
• Contribute to creating a safe, positive and inclusive atmosphere around the students.

You will not have teaching responsibilities, but you will be an important part of the students’ daily life and contribute to both community, well-being and good working routines.

Salary and terms of employment
