About the job

32–37 hours per week · Varied tasks · Thorough training and professional development

Do you have experience from the health sector and a desire to combine patient contact, clinical tasks and administration? At Speciallægeklinikken Centralen we are looking for a new colleague who thrives in a varied day and wants to develop their competencies within the ear, nose and throat specialty.

We imagine that you are audiology assistant, social and health care assistant, clinic assistant with practice experience or medical secretary with a desire to develop yourself within patient examinations and treatment. If you have another relevant professional background, you are also welcome to apply.

About the position

You will become part of a small team with a specialist doctor, a practice manager and hourly-paid medical students. We work closely together about the patients and help each other across the clinic’s functions.

The position includes both independent patient tasks and shared responsibility for making the everyday work function. You must therefore be willing to work broadly in the clinic – from patient examinations and operation assistance to telephone triage, administration and the practical tasks that also belong to the role.

Working hours are 32–37 hours per week by arrangement , during daytime on weekdays.

Your tasks

Tasks will include, among other things

  • Telephone triage, appointment scheduling and patient guidance.
  • Clinical pre-examinations , including hearing tests, tympanometry, skin prick tests, spirometry and

sleep monitoring.

  • Treatment of patients , including ear cleaning and allergy vaccinations.
  • Assistance with minor operations and other treatments , including preparation as well as

cleaning and sterilisation of instruments.

  • Administration and practical clinic tasks , including medical records documentation, procurement of supplies and

ongoing tasks in daily operations.

Adjustment and dispensing of hearing aids is handled by the clinic’s current audiology assistant. The advertised position does not include fitting, dispensing or servicing of hearing aids.

Thorough training and opportunity to develop yourself

You do not need to know all tasks in advance. We provide thorough training in all functions based on your education and experience. This also applies to treatment of patients, operation assistance and the examinations you have not previously worked with.

You will receive ongoing professional sparring and gradually take on more independent tasks. The most important thing is that you are curious, meticulous and eager to learn.

We place particular emphasis on

You work in a structured way, keep an overview and can prioritise when several tasks require attention. You take initiative and think ahead.

You meet patients and relatives with kindness and calm and contribute to good cooperation with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on reliability and responsibility. In a small team, it matters a lot that we can count on each other and help with both the patients and daily operations.

We offer

We offer a varied position with close patient contact, independence and good opportunities for professional development. You will become part of a smaller team with close collaboration and room for professional sparring and good humor.

We also offer lunch scheme . Salary is negotiated based on qualifications and experience. Application

Send a short, motivated application and your CV to [email protected] . Please tell us about your experience, and what motivates you about a position with both clinical and administrative tasks.

We hold interviews on an ongoing basis. Start date by arrangement. You are also welcome to write if you have questions about the position.
