About the job
Are you passionate about developing nursing, have a high drive and the ability to create motivation and momentum – also in close cross-disciplinary collaboration?
Are you motivated by turning ideas into action, and do you thrive working closely with the clinic, while helping to set the direction for development across departments and professional groups?
Then perhaps you are the person we are looking for as our new Clinical Nurse Specialist with a coordinating function.
The position is 37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. You report to the Chief Nurse.
The position is as a rule allocated with 60% development and coordination time within the Orthopedic Surgery Cross-Disciplinary Academy (OTA) and 40% aimed at clinical presence with focus on supervision, professional sparring and support for the clinical nurse specialists in the departments.
About the position As a Clinical Nurse Specialist with a coordinating function you will have a central role in nursing professional development across the department's six units and two sites in Odense and Svendborg.
You will help create coherence in the nursing professional development and at the same time contribute to thinking and developing our patient pathways across professional groups.
You will have a fixed function in OTA and will work closely with the department's chief nurses, clinical nurse specialists and other development and research staff across professional groups.
The position is newly established, and you will have the opportunity to help shape the function in close collaboration with the Chief Nurse and the department's chief nurses.
OTA – Orthopedic Surgery Cross-Disciplinary Academy OTA is the department's shared framework for education, development and research. Here clinicians, leaders and researchers from different professions work together to develop and improve the orthopedic patient pathways.
The academy was established about a year and a half ago and is still under development. We have big ambitions, but we are also focused on ensuring that development makes sense in the clinical everyday life.
A central ambition in OTA is to strengthen the interdisciplinary approach to developing coherent orthopedic patient pathways.
As coordinating Clinical Nurse Specialist you will be an important part of this work. You must both ensure the nursing professional coherence across the department and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary collaboration in OTA.
See OTA charter

- Coordinate and support nursing professional development across the department's six units and two sites.
- Collaborate closely with the department's chief nurses and clinical nurse specialists on joint professional efforts, priorities and implementation.
- Be the nursing professional link between OTA and the clinical departments and contribute to translating joint development ambitions into clinical practice.

- Support implementation of evidence-based nursing, clinical guidelines as well as development and research results.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive cross-disciplinary learning environment where the professional groups are curious about and learn from each other\'s competencies.
In addition you will, among other things

- Contribute to development of common workflows, quality and documentation practices.
- Work with coherent patient information and digital solutions such as MineAftaler, virtual contacts and MyMedCards.
