Kløver-Skolen seeks an energetic pedagogue for the school's A department

Kløver-Skolen has as of December 1, 2026 a vacant pedagogue position for 34 hours.

This position offers you an exciting opportunity where it is important that you can see yourself working very responsibly with two key focus areas, both of which are exciting but different within the Autism and ADHD areas.

When you are employed in Department A, you are expected to be able to solve tasks across all department classes, and the tasks may change. You will be attached to a 'primary class', which in this case will be our middle level as school pedagogue, where you will work closely with the teacher and other colleagues to create a positive, structured and educational learning environment that is based on each individual pupil’s developmental level.

There may, to some extent, be teaching tasks related to the positions, and in relation to this position there may also be 1-1 tasks with individual students or students with school refusal issues, but this will be agreed on an ongoing basis as tasks arise.

For the position, we have the following expectations of you

• Are educated as a pedagogue, preferably with experience from after-school care, school or a daycare facility within the special education field.
• Have relational competence and are skilled at creating a positive relationship with the students.
• Have competencies in Sign Language and generally alternative communication.
• Can create structure and predictability in the students' everyday life.
• Have knowledge of and understanding about motor development and support.
• Are caring, recognizing and trust-building.
• Can work independently and in teams, be proactive and take initiative for solutions.
• Are curious and reflect in your approach to working with our students.
• Have knowledge of low arousal, and can translate this into good practice.
• Can create a positive, professional and pedagogical learning environment through structure and clarity, based on each student’s developmental level.
• Are robust, stable and flexible, and can join different classes in the team.
• Can thrive in a daily life characterized by children with many different needs.
• Have the abilities and competence to engage in close interprofessional collaboration.
• Master extended parental collaboration, which is a necessity in working with the target group to ensure positive development for the students.

Kløver-Skolen is the Sønderborg Municipality’s special school and the most extensive special education offering for children with special needs. The school has 170 students and about 100 staff (teachers, pedagogues, occupational therapists, speech therapists, pedagogical aides and administrative staff). The school's teaching is based on each pupil’s needs and potentials.

The goal of the teaching is, in close collaboration with the parents, to achieve optimal learning, both academically and personally, for each student. The culture at the school is that teachers and pedagogues work as equals in daily life in self-managing teams. We work with an appreciative and relationship-based approach, with a strong focus on low arousal.

Kløver-Skolen is divided into 3 departments, where students with autism spectrum disorders, general learning difficulties and students with speech/language difficulties, students with pervasive developmental disorders and concentration- and attention-related problems, and students with emotional and social difficulties are taught. In addition, there is an attached after-school program (SFO), which is located at Kløver-Skolen. The SFO has enrolled children from 0 to 10th grade from all three departments. The SFO is open before school, after school and on school holidays.

The position is remunerated according to the applicable collective agreement. Upon employment, copies of criminal record and child protection certificates will be requested.
