Club staff member for Klub Midtpunktet – Basen department

Would you like to spend your evenings on something meaningful? At Klub Midtpunktet – Basen department we are looking for one or two club workers who want to help develop our evening club and create good communities for young people from 6th grade to 19 years old.

You don\'t need many years of experience. The most important is that you want to work with young people, meet them at eye level, and have the courage to start activities and ideas. If you have a pedagogical background – or are considering getting one – that is an advantage.

You gain freedom to create good evenings

At Basen there is room for ideas. We emphasize that the young people are heard, and that their ideas do not stay in talk but have the opportunity to become something.

Perhaps you would like to kick off a tournament, cook with the young people, start a new creative project or go on a trip? You will have freedom to use your interests and ideas – and at the same time colleagues who are happy to brainstorm and help make them succeed.

We also have fixed frameworks and routines that give the evenings structure and make it clear to the young what they can look forward to. We have, among other things, communal meals several times a week, trips out of the house and a camp.

A house with room for everyone

Basen is a well-functioning club with about 8 staff members and members from 10-19 years. We have a large and active house where there is room for both community, activities and just being.

We work with relationships, participation and communities, and we emphasize that all young people experience that they belong.

You will become part of an experienced staff group, where there is opportunity for pedagogical sparring and room to try out ideas. We have high well-being among the staff, and many of your future colleagues have been at Basen for many years.

Your role in the evening club

The evening club is for members from the junior and youth club, and the young people are from 6th grade to 19 years.

Your main task is to be present and create good conditions for the young people. You must be able to see what is happening around you, take the initiative and be curious about the young people\'s ideas and interests.

• are eager to initiate activities and follow the young people\'s ideas
• are good at creating and maintaining trusting relationships
• can handle conflicts and be a clear adult
• are willing to contribute with new ideas and perspectives.

The most important is not what is written on your diploma. The most important is that you want the young , care about their well-being and development and want to help create good communities.

A part of Klub Midtpunktet

Klub Midtpunktet consists of the Basen department and Klubben i Centrum (KIC). This means that we work across the two departments with pedagogical activities in both the day and evening clubs as well as in meetings and other joint activities.

Practical information

The position is on 9-18 hours per week , depending on whether you have 2 or 4 evening shifts per week.

The evening club is open Monday to Thursday from 17:45 to 21:30, and your working hours will typically fall between 17:15 and 21:45.

We are looking for one or two staff members who can take 2-4 evening shifts per week.

Employment: As soon as possible.

We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and hire when we have found the right.

Salary and employment terms are set according to the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles. Since the work mainly takes place in the evening hours, a relevant evening allowance is paid.

In connection with employment, a child and criminal record check as well as references from previous employments will be obtained.
