Kobberbakkeskolen consists of three sites, each with its own culture, history and student composition. A central task as a teacher is to support the development of shared practice, create coherence and contribute to a professional culture.

About the Sjølund Department

The Sjølund department consists of classes from year 4 to year 9, including special classes.

The department has

• two tracks from 4th–6th grade
• three tracks in 7th grade
• four tracks from 8th–9th grade
• a 7th year group that receives students from the Rønnebæk department. concretely this means that in 7th year we form new classes.
• a broad student base and focus on safe, inclusive learning environments
• close daily collaboration between teachers and education assistants

The position

We are seeking a trained teacher for the middle years who can teach mathematics and science with academic strength, engagement and the ability to maintain an overview in the students’ school day.

We are seeking a teacher who

• is academically strong in mathematics and science
• can awaken students’ curiosity and create coherence between mathematics, science and the students’ everyday life
• can create practice-based learning processes for the students
• can build safe relationships with all students and actively work with inclusive communities
• can create participation opportunities for students with different prerequisites
• can support varied learning forms (e.g. movement, practice-based learning)
• has a close and mutual collaboration with the team
• can participate in joint planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching
• can be a co-creator of a shared learning vision and shared practice
• can communicate clearly and constructively about students’ needs and development
• can support students in taking responsibility for the community
• can work with classroom culture, norms and forms of participation

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the current agreement between KL and DLF.
