Kitchen assistant at Klarahus Nursing Home in De Gamles By in Nørrebro

Would you like to make a difference and help create meaningful food experiences for elderly citizens?

We are seeking an engaged, dedicated and responsible kitchen assistant to our dynamic and professionally strong kitchen team at Klarahus – a nursing home with 110 residents spread across five departments in De Gamles By on Nørrebro. Here you will have a central role in ensuring daily life runs in the production kitchen.

Your profile

You don't need to be a trained professional, but we see it as an advantage if you have experience from similar positions (this is not a requirement). We expect you to be quality-conscious, proactive and to thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment with a focus on collaboration, respect and high professional standards. You are able to maintain an overview in a busy daily routine and work systematically with a focus on hygiene and food safety.

Your tasks will mainly be

• washing up from the departments and during the day's kitchen production
• perform cleaning based on self-check
• prepare vegetables for the kitchen production
• various packing tasks for the departments.

Employment terms

The position is a temporary contract from December 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027 and is 37 hours per week in the working hours between 06:30-14:00, with no weekend or evening shifts. Holidays that fall Monday-Friday must be covered and evening shifts for Christmas, where flexibility and commitment are important for the kitchen team. Salary and employment conditions are according to the applicable collective agreement.
