Kofoed's School in Copenhagen is seeking a pedagogical worker for Cleaning and Laundry

Would you like to make a difference for people in vulnerable positions and do you have competencies in both pedagogy and cleaning, then it might be you we are looking for.

Our team consists of Cleaning and Laundry as well as a Production Workshop. The team comprises three full-time positions, a number of employees on flexible terms and a team leader.

At Kofoeds Skole we work for and with people in vulnerable life situations. Through teaching, counseling, workshops and work communities we create opportunities for the individual student to develop, gain new experiences and strengthen their path forward in life.

A practical everyday life with a pedagogical aim

In Cleaning and Laundry, the daily work takes place within a pedagogical framework. You will be involved in training the students' work skills, creating structure and giving each individual the opportunity to experience that they can do something and contribute to the community.

You must therefore be able to see both the task and the person behind it.

Your tasks will among other things be to

• instruct and teach cleaning and laundry,
• coordinate today's tasks,
• train and develop the students' work skills,
• prepare and follow up on learner plans,
• adapt work tasks to the individual student,
• solve practical cleaning and laundry tasks,
• contribute to the development of our working methods.

You will become part of a team where we on a daily basis consult with each other, help each other and bring everything together in a cohesive whole.

Profile

Professional

• You have an educational degree in pedagogy or another relevant professional bachelor's degree.
• You preferably have professional knowledge within cleaning.

Experiences we value you have

• Experience with pedagogical work and people in vulnerable positions.
• Experience with teaching, instruction and training of work skills.
• Work experience with cleaning, laundry or other practical work.
• You can combine pedagogical professionalism with practical sense.
• You can create structure and adapt tasks to the individual.
• You can use digital tools and learn new systems.

Kofoeds Skole is a self-governing social institution with 100 employees, which offers help for self-help to adults who are unemployed and citizens in vulnerable positions with various social and psychological problems that make it difficult to enter the labor market. We have 3,600 citizens annually and have, in addition to the main school in Copenhagen, also branches in Aarhus, Aalborg and Nuuk.

Employment terms etc.

The appointment is with effect from January 1, 2027. The position is 37 hours and the working hours are daytime on weekdays.

The employment is as a rule in accordance with the Central Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisations in the Civil Service Area (OAO-S), as well as the Organizational Agreement for social-pedagogical staff at Kofoeds Skole (SL).
