Helle Hallen has a wide range of sports, meeting and cultural activities, where catering must also be in the foreground. A journey you will of course be part of.

Helle Hallen is therefore seeking a cook for the operation and development of our cafe, where you will work closely with our head chef and other staff in the hall.

Whether you are a trained chef, caterer, kitchen assistant or something else similar is not decisive, but you must have extensive experience and be able to solve many different tasks in our kitchen and cafeteria independently. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Your primary tasks

• Preparation and plating of food in our cafe for especially courses, meetings, parties and training camps
• Work on development of our offerings in the cafe based on a green and healthy food profile
• Assist in training and organizing young workers in the cafe, and be a part of the team.
• Assist in coordinating service at courses, meetings and parties etc.
• Assist with hygiene, cleaning and dishwashing in the kitchen
• Enter into close collaboration with our Head Chef on the kitchen's and cafe's many different tasks.

We expect that you are

• Experienced in a kitchen/cafe with different foods ranging from banquet menus, finger foods, healthy food and grilled dishes.
• Independent and service-minded towards customers, volunteers and colleagues.
• Collaborative and flexible.
• Has a strong nose for customer needs and sees opportunities for upselling.
