Cook wanted for Nagomi in Skive

Nagomi in Skive is seeking a skilled and dedicated chef for a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week.

We are a sushi restaurant focusing on fresh ingredients, quality and great taste experiences. We are looking for a chef who can join as a regular member of our kitchen team and contribute to the daily preparation and production of our dishes.

Your responsibilities will include

• Preparation and plating of sushi and other Asian-inspired dishes
• Preparation and mise en place of fish, vegetables, rice and other ingredients
• Production of different types of sushi, including maki and nigiri
• Preparation of hot and cold dishes
• Preparation of orders for dine-in and takeaway
• Ensuring quality and consistency in the dishes
• Cleaning and tidying up as well as compliance with applicable hygiene and food safety regulations
• Other kitchen tasks related to daily operations

We expect that you

• Have previous experience as a chef or in professional kitchen work
• Preferably have experience with sushi or Asian/Japanese cooking
• Can work independently and maintain an overview during busy periods
• Are responsible, reliable and quality-conscious
• Are flexible and can work both weekdays and weekends
• Can collaborate well with the rest of the team
