About the job

Would you like to help strengthen children's well-being? And are you motivated by working closely with the daily life of schools, where your professional expertise is put into practice?

Then perhaps it is you we are looking for for 1-2 full-time positions with start on January 1, 2027.

As a PPR consultant you will be a central part of the work on well-being and developing learning environments for children and young people. Your pedagogical and didactic experience are put to use where they make the biggest difference – in close collaboration with school staff and leadership.

In PPR we work to strengthen our local presence so that we are experienced as closer to children, families and professionals in everyday life. We do this through a consultative, practice-oriented and flexible approach with a focus on solutions that make sense in the concrete context.

About the position

As a consultant in PPR you will be an important part of the work on well-being and developing learning environments for children and young people. You will work closely with teachers, pedagogues and school leaders to create frameworks where more children and young people can succeed academically, socially and personally.

You will be based in PPR's office shared space at Sæbygårdskolen, where you become part of an interdisciplinary environment with psychologists, speech therapists, occupational/physiotherapists as well as a special educational needs consultant and a youth guide. We work closely together and close to practice.

The task includes

  • Sparring with teachers, pedagogues and management - including observation in teaching and subsequently practice-oriented guidance
  • Participation in internal and cross-disciplinary meetings about student pathways with school, PPR and parents
  • Support of inclusive learning environments and truancy interventions
  • Contribute to the development of schools' pedagogical practice
  • Focus on communities, participation and sustainable solutions

You have an understanding of the school's core task and the conditions under which teaching takes place. You will become part of the Center for School and Leisure, where we work from the vision of Children and youth communities that want more and embrace more. Based on our resource-oriented view of children and young people you have an eye for developing the pedagogical frameworks around the community. You enter practice with respect for the staff's professionalism and translate your knowledge into concrete and applicable strategies in teaching.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • You have a relevant pedagogical education, e.g. as a teacher, and have solid experience from the school sector – preferably with further education at diploma, master's or candidate level
  • Have strong didactic expertise and experience in developing learning environments that invite participation in the community, and an interest in relevant legislation in the school sector
  • Have strong relational and collaboration skills and be able to balance independent responsibility with close collaboration to develop students' participation opportunities in the school's community
  • Work in a structured way and help create progress in complex cases
  • Communicate clearly and precisely – both verbally and in writing

You can expect

  • Anchoring in a professionally strong PPR community with good opportunities for sparring, professional challenges and ongoing development.
  • A position with both independence and close collaboration
  • Opportunity to come very close to decisions, actions and development in the daily life of schools.
  • A daily life with real impact on children's and young people's learning and well-being
  • A strong interdisciplinary collaboration with engaged colleagues
  • A culture characterized by openness, professional curiosity and shared responsibility

The position gives you the possibility to work both strategically and practice-oriented – and to shape how we organize and develop efforts for all children and young people in the Center for School and Leisure in Frederikshavn Municipality.
