Doctor for Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality's alcohol and substance counseling – Torvehus

Do you want to make a difference for our citizens with substance problems – and be part of a strong, professional community?

We are seeking a trained physician with clinical experience and knowledge within the substance area, psychiatry or social medicine for a position currently 4 hours per week.

Torvehuset is Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality's outpatient treatment for alcohol- or drug addiction. We offer counseling, assessment of the citizen's overall situation - including medical consultation and examination, possibility for psychiatric assessment and referral to relevant offerings in psychiatry. We offer Antabus, but no substitution therapy.

In connection with the assessment the citizen is entitled to a medical consultation. This consists of a holistic assessment and an objective examination.

In addition, you will need to be involved in discussing cases and updating the substance centre's professional instructions etc.
