Teacher for 10th grade at Kløften

10th grade at Kløften is seeking a qualified teacher who can teach mathematics and preferably physics. You do not necessarily need to have experience with 10th grade, but you must be able to teach mathematics at the upper level and be able to lead to an examination at the fp10 level. If you are passionate about working with young people, and you are a patient, relationship-driven and appreciative person with a sustained focus on developing the students' learning, then a job at the 10th grade at Kløften might be just the right job for you.

In addition to mathematics, you will also be expected to be a form tutor for about 12-15 students and to take care of an elective subject. Our electives are either academic, creative, or based on movement.

You will become part of a team of 3-4 teachers and a school assistant who are attached to two classes. You will therefore gain a lot of insight and familiarity with the classes you are part of and become part of a community that works closely together to ensure that all students succeed as best as possible. We place a high value on community among both staff and students.

But the most important thing is that you feel comfortable among young people, and that together with your colleagues you can see the value in creating a structure and intermediate forms that can help the young people to succeed.

10th grade at Kløften is Haderslev Municipality's 10th grade Center with 140 students. We have 4-5 general 10th grade classes, two special classes and two intake/reception classes. Our foremost task is to make young people capable for life, so they can continue to education after 10th grade. We have a first-class youth environment and you will join a group of fantastic colleagues.

Salary and employment terms

The position is paid in accordance with the current collective agreement between KL and the relevant professional organization. The expected starting salary lies in the range of DKK 33,521 - 40,061 plus pension. The final placement within the range is based on objective criteria such as relevant education and documented professional experience

In accordance with Haderslev Municipality's personnel rules, a criminal record check will be obtained.

The position is a permanent full-time position with employment from January 1, 2027.
