Warehouse worker for goods reception and entry control

Can you receive goods – and ensure they are the right ones?

Are you used to working with steel and technical drawings, and can you ensure that the goods we receive are the correct ones and placed in the right place? Then we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for an employee who can take initiative, keep track of details, and ensure that the goods that come in through the door are also the right ones.

With us, receiving goods is not just about receiving and moving goods. It is about checking that the item matches the drawing, that the registration is correct, and that the item is placed in the correct storage location. It must be in order before the item is sent further in the process.

You will become part of a warehouse team where tempo may be high, and where it is important that you work in a structured way and have control of your tasks. Experience from the steel industry and the ability to read technical drawings will be a big advantage in the job.

Your tasks

• Receiving and registration of incoming goods
• Incoming inspection, checks that received goods match the technical drawings and accompanying documentation
• Checking the goods type, dimensions and quantity
• Identification and handling of deviations if the item does not match the expected
• Correct labeling and placement of goods in the warehouse
• Registration and updating of item information in warehouse and ERP systems
• Forklift driving and internal transport of goods

Qualifications and competencies

We expect that you

• Have experience with warehouse work, preferably in receiving and incoming inspection
• Have experience from the steel industry or another metal industry – this will be a clear advantage
• Can read and understand technical drawings and actively use them in inspecting incoming goods
• Have experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Navision
• Have forklift certification and driving license B
• Can communicate in Danish and understand English – as internal information meetings take place in English
• Work in a structured way and have control of registration, inspection and placement of goods
• Takes responsibility for your tasks and follows them through
