Langmarkskolen in Horsens is seeking a teacher with a specialization in Danish for the upper grades.

One of our skilled teachers in the upper years has taken a job as department head, and we are therefore seeking a trained primary school teacher to take care of Danish instruction together with talented colleagues in our upper years.

At Langmarkskolen you will be part of a strong team. Specifically you will be a Danish teacher with a shared class-teacher role for both an 8th grade and a 9th grade class.

On both levels you will teach a group of young people who are in the school's Talent Classes under Team Denmark. Langmarkskolen collaborates with Horsens Talent & Elite, where Langmarkskolen is the school in Horsens Municipality that teaches the students in the municipality who have the opportunity to combine education and elite sport in Horsens Municipality's Talent Classes.

In addition to Danish instruction there may of course be teaching in other subjects depending on your other major subjects. The position is a permanent 37-hour appointment with start as soon as possible.

The position is for you if you have strong competencies, are passionate about your subjects and are prepared for close collaboration with your colleagues. We also place emphasis on you being personally robust, good at building relationships with students, and that you are determined to help young people manage a daily life with many training hours and the school requirements in an upper-year class.

As an employee at Langmarkskolen you will be employed at a school with about 550 pupils, 42 teachers, three kindergarten class leaders as well as an SFO with five pedagogues, an assistant and a student teacher.
