Re-advertisement: Teacher for special education in Karrebæk

Lille Næstved Skole, afdeling Karrebæk, seeks an engaged and competent teacher with experience in special pedagogy for our level 2 offer for students with psychosocial and emotional challenges. The position is primarily in upper secondary with some hours in middle school. We are looking for a humanistic profile.

About the offer

• 3 groups: primary (grades 1–3), middle school (grades 4–6) and upper secondary (grades 7–9)
• 8 students per class with one teacher and one pedagogue

We are looking for a teacher with

• Experience in differentiated teaching and close collaboration with pedagogues
• Experience with conducting Danish final exams (afgangsprøver) in Danish
• Ability to understand and support students’ initiatives and well-being
• Affirming language and creation of psychological safety
• Focus on good relationships and community
• Awareness of body language and nonverbal communication
• Support for students’ mental well-being through relationship work
• A recognition of mistakes and ability to repair relationships

About us: Lille Næstved Skole is a large department-divided school on three campuses with about 1,300 students. The Karrebæk department is located in a beautiful setting close to forest and water. Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement concluded between KL and the Danish Teachers’ Association.
