About the job

Would you like to be part of an exciting workplace where personnel law makes a difference for many?

As a personnel lawyer in Corporate Services you will have a unique opportunity to work with complex cases in an organization with 45,000 employees.

You know the law and are looking for a workplace where your professionalism can make a real difference for both managers and employees, and where you get close to the decisions that shape the daily work for thousands of employees.

The daily life in Personnel Law and Negotiation

You will play an important role in a dedicated team, where we work closely together – including on difficult decisions. You will become a trusted sparring partner for the managers across the municipality's seven administrations and will be responsible for a wide range of personnel-law tasks – from advice and case handling to negotiation and teaching.

We are about 45 dedicated employees, all valuing professionalism and sparring highly. You will experience an informal working environment with a strong collegial community, where we contribute to each other's everyday life – both professionally and socially.

Why you should choose us

  • You will become part of a strong professional environment with high complexity and close sparring
  • The tasks are diverse and developmental
  • You will have the opportunity to influence our digital development and automation
  • We provide room for independence and initiative in task solving

Your main tasks

  • Advise leaders on everything from sick leave and maternity leave to terminations, departures and official procedures
  • Personnel-law case handling and preparation of party hearings and decisions
  • Negotiation and dialogue with the trade unions, both locally and at KL
  • Training of the municipality's leaders in the field of personnel law
  • Prepare guidelines and notes on personnel-law topics

About you

You have a legal education, e.g., cand.jur., cand.merc.jur. or cand.soc. in law or have equivalent qualifications from several years of practical experience with legal tasks. You can communicate your personnel-law knowledge so that it makes sense to others, and you keep a cool head when cases become challenging.

We value that you have experience with employment law (preferably from the public sector) and can translate law into practice. If you are a recent graduate with the right motivation and background to become part of our professional community, you are also welcome to apply.

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate additional allowances. Start as soon as possible. Together with your application, please attach your CV, education certificates and any other relevant material.

We are part of Corporate Services in the Finance Administration, which is centrally located in Copenhagen at Borups Allé 177, just beside Fuglebakken Station, and it is easy to reach by public transport. We have activity-based offices, flexible meeting times, a healthy canteen, a massage scheme and the possibility of up to two days of home working per week.
