The Environmental Protection Agency seeks a lawyer with a flair for environmental law and administrative law

Environment Protection Agency is seeking a jurist for our team for fishing licenses.

A significant part of the office's tasks relate to the fishing sector area, where we would like to strengthen the administration of environmental-law aspects in connection with issuing licenses for fishing, etc. There will therefore be opportunities to help develop environmental law as a working area in the agency.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for both you who are experienced in legal advice in public administration and you who are newly graduated. You may have experience from another public authority, company or law firm. We imagine that from previous employment you have experience with concrete case handling.

You will often need to collaborate with colleagues with different professional backgrounds, therefore we emphasize that you can communicate your legal advice to other professional groups, and that you can find solutions that can be translated into a practical everyday. We also place emphasis on your interest in politics, and being an approachable person who contributes positively to a good atmosphere in the office.

Employment terms

Employment will, depending on qualifications, take place as an administrator, specialist- or chief consultant in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of Academic organizations for academics in the state (Academics' Agreement).

The position is a full-time position with start as soon as possible and no later than January 1, 2027.

The employment area is the Ministry of the Environment with associated institutions, and the place of work is Lindholm Brygge 31, 9400 Nørresundby.
