Job Description

Our one layout artist has chosen to become self-employed, so we now seek her successor for a full-time position in Bonnier Publications’ editorial team for Bookazines and Spin off.

You should think creatively, but above all be productive. In 2027 our editorial team will publish around 300 titles that will be displayed on shelves in up to 20 countries.

A large part of the work as a layout artist with us consists of designing and adapting our many covers. Some should be conceived from scratch, while others simply need adjustment. In addition, there will be other, smaller layout tasks, and there will also be a number of technical and sometimes routine production tasks in your daily life.

Our portfolio ranges from exercise books and journals to bookazines about "Hitler's henchmen" and "The brain’s mysteries". A large part is repurposing material from the house’s other brands such as Historie and Illustreret Videnskab, but we also produce brand-new material and purchase licenses which we translate for new markets.

• Are strong in InDesign and Photoshop and also curious about AI
• Are systematic, have an eye for detail and care about quality assurance
• Have a calm overview and thrive in a busy organization where you juggle many productions – at different stages – at the same time

Bonnier Publications is located on Strandboulevarden in Østerbro, close to the metro, S-train and bus. We enjoy delicious daily meals from the canteen, which focuses on health and ecology.

The position is 35 hours per week excluding lunch, and you will be employed under the agreement between Bonnier and the Danish Union of Journalists. Expected start is February 1, 2027.
