About the job

Would you help set the direction for psychological treatment across digital and in-person offerings and lead a strong psychology professional environment in development?

Center for Digital Psychiatry seeks a lead psychologist for our overall treatment function. You will have a central role in the clinical and strategic development of our treatment offerings.

Our treatment function includes Internet Psychiatry, which offers digital treatment of anxiety and depression for adults across Denmark, and Psychology Help South, Region of Southern Denmark's new treatment offering for young people aged 18 to 24 with mild to moderate anxiety, OCD and depression.

Across the offerings, we work with a shared ambition: to make evidence-based psychological treatment accessible to more people and to offer it in a form that fits the individual’s needs. This means combining digital treatment, video, individual treatment, group treatment and treatment with physical attendance.

As lead psychologist you will help create coherence across and further develop a treatment function where high clinical quality, good operations, employee well-being and development go hand in hand.

About the treatment function

Center for Digital Psychiatry has many years of experience with internet-based psychological treatment through Internet Psychiatry. At the same time, we are in the process of establishing Psychology Help South with clinics in Odense, Vejle, Esbjerg and Aabenraa.

We are now consolidating the treatment offerings into one common treatment function. It creates new opportunities to develop a strong psychology professional environment across target groups, geography and treatment forms and to systematically work with what treatment works for whom, in which format and at what intensity level.

This is the development you will help lead.

About the job

As lead psychologist you will both be leader of people, clinical leader and co-creator of the strategic direction. You will therefore move between close personnel management, daily treatment operations and more long-term development of our treatment offerings.

You will solve the task in close collaboration in the clinical management team consisting of a total of three lead psychologists, team leaders and professional coordinators and you will be part of the center’s overall leadership function. This means that your task is not to make all decisions yourself. You must set direction and frames, create clear mandates and enable others to succeed with their responsibilities.

We expect you can create followership through clarity, involvement and trust, and that you can both hold to the direction and be curious about employees’ professional perspectives.

Your main areas of responsibility will include

  • Provide hands-on personnel leadership and create good conditions for psychologists’ well-being, development and task solving
  • Ensure high psychology professional and clinical quality in the treatment offerings
  • Contribute to development of the overall treatment model and translate professional and strategic ambitions into clinical practice
  • Contribute to stable operations, patient flow, capacity utilization and accessibility
  • Systematically monitor treatment quality, activity and effect and actively use data in leadership
  • Develop psychologists’ competencies and support supervision, professional reflection and learning
  • Lead implementation of new treatment methods, workflows and offerings
  • Contribute with clinical perspective to research, program development and technological development
  • Build good collaborative relationships across the center and with other parts of psychiatry, the practice area and external partners.

The concrete task and responsibility distribution between the function leaders we develop continuously as the overall treatment function is established.

Who are you?

You are a licensed psychologist and have a solid clinical foundation. You are interested in leadership and in how we can organize and develop psychological treatment so that high professional quality can go hand in hand with accessibility and efficient resource use.

You do not need to be an expert in digital treatment. However, we expect you to be curious about how technology and different treatment formats can be used to create better and more accessible treatment offerings.

We emphasize that you

  • Have solid clinical experience, preferably with cognitive behavioral therapy and treatment of anxiety, OCD and/or depression
  • Have experience with leadership or a clear desire to take greater leadership responsibility
  • Can create direction, structure and prioritization in a complex daily life
  • Have an eye for both people, professional quality and operations
  • Can translate knowledge, data and strategic goals into concrete clinical practice
  • Can lead development and implementation – even when not all answers are given in advance
  • Are focused on developing others and creating a strong professional and collegial community
  • Collaborate well across disciplines and organizational boundaries
  • Communicate clearly and trustfully – both as a leader and as a professional.

It would be an advantage if you have specialist training or other relevant continuing education, experience with supervision and/or experience with clinical leadership and quality development.

Why you should choose us

The position gives you the opportunity to have significant influence on the development of a growing treatment area.

With us you get

  • A central leadership role: You will help shape the overall treatment function and its professional and organizational direction.
  • A strong psychology professional environment: You will lead skilled and engaged psychologists and have colleagues with extensive clinical and digital experience.
  • Opportunity to develop the treatment of the future: We work across physical, video-based and internet-based treatment forms.
  • Leadership as a shared task: You become part of a leadership group where we share responsibility, challenge each other and develop the treatment function together. For us, onboarding, close sparring and leadership support are the starting point.
  • An development-oriented environment: Clinical practice meets research, technology, data and implementation in everyday life.
  • Great potential to influence: The overall treatment function is under development, and you get a real opportunity to shape organization, culture and professional direction.
