About the job

As a legal assistant at FDM you will have the opportunity to independently advise our members within a broad consumer-law portfolio – including in particular buyer's rights, contract law, consumer contract law, tort law, insurance law, leasing, financing, traffic law, parking matters, etc. The substantial responsibility that comes with being a legal assistant means you will have ample opportunity to develop your skills and apply theory in practice.

You will join a professionally strong collaboration in our legal department consisting of ten lawyers and attorneys as well as approximately 16-18 other law students. We work in bright and open office spaces in Lyngby. At the office we have an informal and humorous tone. It provides easy access to colleagues and to professional sparring with FDM's jurists and attorneys.

A little about you

We expect that you have completed the first year of the bachelor's degree in law or business law. You enjoy studying law and have a high level of academic ability. At the same time you are good at translating your professional knowledge into easily understandable language. You are driven by a desire to help others, to find good solutions to problems, and to make a difference. You are independent and not afraid to take responsibility. You write and speak flawless Danish. If you know other languages, that is an advantage.

We offer

A learning and study-relevant job with focus on your professional and communicative development, including:

  • A step-by-step training program focused on building professional knowledge, communication and a gradual introduction to independent case handling
  • Ongoing professional development – including professional sparring and instruction from our jurists and attorneys.
  • Opportunity for professional sparring in connection with your studies, e.g., for bachelor's or master's thesis if it is within our area
  • Working hours of approximately 15 hours per week, distributed over two days

In addition, we have training facilities, an active employee association that arranges plenty of fun activities and parties, and we also benefit from a nice canteen arrangement and really good coffee.

Do you find this interesting?

Then write an application with a few words about yourself and your motivation for applying for the position and attach your CV and a copy of your exam results and perhaps some relevant references.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact jurist Christian Boddum Hjortshøj at tel. 45 27 01 23 or [email protected]

Note: We are continually seeking new colleagues for the department, and therefore we also process applications and invite to interviews on an ongoing basis. You should therefore expect longer waiting times for a response to your application.

We only accept applications via the electronic application form.

We look forward to receiving your application.
