Legendary legends? Tølløse SFO is looking for two pedagogues for school and SFO

Maybe you have experience with the older children? Maybe you’re just good at getting all children to participate on an equal footing? Maybe you simply enjoy cozy, engaging leisure pedagogy? Then you are probably exactly who we need!

The number of hours can be 30-37 hours per week. We will sit down together and talk about what suits best.

Short and to the point about the school and SFO

Tølløse School is a two-track public school from 0th to 9th grade. There are about 500 students, 50 teachers and 19 pedagogues. There is also a contact class series for children with ADHD and within the autism spectrum. The SFO has 200 children in SFO 1 and 100 in SFO 2.

With us you will work with a focus on safety, formation and the courage to explore. Our foundation is communities, and therefore you should want to engage in binding communities and professional networks with everyone around the task. And what does that mean?

That our everyday life primarily revolves around the children being happy, and that we create the best conditions for this by giving the communities the best opportunities.

What is the job about?

When it is school time, you are part of the class. You, together with your team, must help determine where your school hours should lie. It should make sense for the children, you and your colleagues. It requires joint responsibility for how the timetable is best structured.

As a school pedagogue you play an active role in the school, where you help create learning and well-being in collaboration with the teachers. You will join a year group or class team about the class you are primary in and in the pedagogues’ team around SFO. When the school day ends, it is time for SFO – and here we always have a lot of different workshops going on.

In the club with the big ones?

One of the two pedagogues shall be in our club with children from 4th–7th grade. Here you have fairly free frames to come up with cool and fun things that give the young people a good afternoon with their friends. Perhaps you have competencies in play and sport – preferably something physically active, outdoors or wild!

For all our children, the outdoors areas are excellent for play and activities with, among other things, a multi-use court, mooncar track, zip line, sandpits, climbing wall, climbing frame, bonfire house, large plastic track, a bit of forest and plenty of space. Indoors is not bad either with a hall and gymnasium as well as long corridors for badminton and table tennis. In addition, there is both a cafe, woodwork, media room, theatre cellar and space for new ideas!

Child Mayor Apprenticeship

Perhaps you will be part of our exciting project: Child Mayor Apprenticeship. It is a practice-oriented approach to learning, where children get the opportunity to learn in other ways than through traditional classroom teaching. Through practical tasks, concrete experiences and communities we work to strengthen the children’s motivation, well-being, participation and belief in their own abilities. Child Mayor Apprenticeship should help create new paths to learning, where the children experience that they can contribute, succeed and be an important part of the community.
