Do you want to work somewhere with life, movement and many guests around you? Are you responsible, approachable and flexible? Then you may be our new lifeguard substitute at Nakskov Swim Center.

We are seeking a substitute who wants to help create a safe and good experience for our guests and who can step in during illness, holidays and other needs for extra hands.

A job with both responsibility and guest contact

As a lifeguard substitute you help create security around the pools. You keep a watchful eye on activities in the water, assist the guests and contribute to the center's rules being followed in a friendly and clear manner. You must be able to maintain an overview, even when there are many people and high activity level.

Work in a swimming center is about safety, service and practical tasks. You meet people with different needs and must thrive being visible, accessible and in contact with the guests. At the same time cleaning of bathrooms, changing rooms and other common areas is a fixed part of the work, so the center presents itself clean and inviting.

Who are you?

You are a confident swimmer, take responsibility and want to work with lifeguarding and first aid. You preferably have experience from a swimming pool or another job with guest contact, but the most important is that you are attentive, service-minded and ready to learn. You must be prepared to pass the necessary tests and complete training in the center's safety procedures.

You thrive in an active environment with many guests and can both collaborate with colleagues and handle tasks independently. You see cleaning and practical tasks as a natural part of ensuring a good guest experience.

Flexibility is important in the position. We need a substitute who can take shifts at short notice, also when an acute need arises. Shifts can be on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

About Nakskov Swim Center

Nakskov Swim Center is part of Nakskov Sports Center. The center includes among other things a 25-meter competition pool, a fun pool, a warm water pool and a children's pool as well as a water slide and a tipping boat. The facilities provide space for swimming, exercise, play and water activities.

With us guests should meet a clean, inviting and safe swimming center. As a lifeguard substitute you will become an important part of that experience.

Salary and employment terms

The position is an hourly paid on-call substitute and the hourly wage is 164.27 DKK and shifts are arranged as needed.

On-call substitutes are employed on base pay grade 16 + 650 in base pay supplement.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement and there will be allowances for evening, weekend and holiday work, which follow the relevant agreements.

Start: as soon as possible after agreement.
