Lindegården seeks competent educators

Lindegården søger kompetente medarbejdere til Lindegården

Do you want to be part of the active and good life at Lindegården, where the starting point is “You can do more than you think”?

Lindegården consists of 3 offerings: One residential care home, one activity and day service, and 3 shared homes.

We are currently seeking 2 pedagogues for our Botilbud in house 1 and house 2 at 30-37 hours per week. There are day and evening shifts and every other weekend. There will be the possibility of double shifts on weekends. The positions are to be filled as soon as possible.

If you are unsure whether the job is for you, we can offer a short “visiting day” where you are introduced to the resident group, tasks, the professional approach and what it means to be part of Lindegården.

About us

The target group at Botilbud is adults with developmental disabilities with permanently reduced physical and mental functioning. The residents vary in age, language and mobility, but common to all residents is that they – almost always – have a good mood and are life-affirming to work with. Lindegården is a pedagogical residential care home where we fundamentally work with sensory integration and health pedagogy based on a neuro-pedagogical approach.

The basic needs are at the forefront, including personal care, and it is important to create safe and homely surroundings, based on the individual resident. We take pride in celebrating traditions and, moreover, use any occasion to “party”. We frequently use the area around the castle and the castle park for walking and cycling trips.

The duties are varied, but always with a focus and starting point in our core task and a pedagogical approach. At Botilbuddet there are a total of 36 residents, divided into 3 houses with 12 in each. You will be part of a team of 15-20 colleagues who take care of one house.

We place professionalism high! There will be 3 introductory shifts and an introduction to Lindegården’s Professional Foundation, which describes professional values, methods and approaches in the work.

About you

We expect you to be educated as a pedagogue, pedagogical assistant or other within the social or health-related field, with experience and great curiosity in the pedagogical area and actively contribute with your empathy in daily life. It is important that you have commitment and empathy for the residents and that ethics are in order, as well as demonstrating loyalty. We place emphasis on written skills, including insight and ability in documentation work.

It is also important that you can create an overview, including being able to coordinate and collaborate, but also be able to work independently. Finally, a sense of humor is a significant value, which is highly valued.

We can, on the other hand, offer fantastic residents, a workplace with a focus on professionalism and a learning environment, engaged colleagues and a great influence on optimizing workflows.
