Logistics and Purchasing Apprentice for International Construction Projects

Do you want to be trained in logistics, purchasing and coordination – and do you think it would be exciting to be part of international construction projects?

Right now, and based at the head office in Nyborg, we are looking for a skilled and curious purchasing apprentice who will contribute to procurement and logistics in connection with the project.

As a purchasing apprentice at Munck Civil Engineering you will receive broad and varied learning as well as the opportunity for sparring with our experienced Logistics Manager. Together you will plan your progression according to the current tasks with a focus on ensuring you cover the full professional palette in relation to your education.

The logistics department is a small department located in Nyborg and serves our foremen, engineers and mechanics who are located on projects around the world.

You will, among other things, get to test your skills with

• Procurement of equipment – from mosquito repellent to spare machine parts – for international projects
• Requesting quotes as well as following up on purchases and shipping
• Communication and coordination with your colleagues in several countries around the world as well as with suppliers, shipping personnel, etc.
• Ensure that customs, export and safety regulations are complied with
• General assistance to colleagues

We are looking for someone who

• Takes responsibility for own learning and asks questions when there is something you do not understand
• Has good skills in communication and coordination
• Can communicate in writing and speak in both Danish and English
• Has a flair for numbers and commercial sense
• Has an interest and preferably knowledge of construction machinery
• Works systematically, is detail-oriented and thrives with many parallel tasks
