Logistics Employee - Part-time

The Hospital Pharmacy has a central role in ensuring a stable and safe drug supply to the region's hospitals and psychiatry.

We are now seeking an engaged logistics employee for our pharmaceutical warehouse in Roskilde.

The Hospital Pharmacy is currently in an exciting development where, from January 2027, we will become part of Region Østdanmark. In addition, we are also working purposefully towards a new, joint Drug Supply, where our three pharmaceutical warehouses are consolidated into a new pharmaceutical warehouse. The upcoming joint warehouse is being built at Køge Nord – close to the region's largest hospital and is expected to be ready for occupancy in 2029. When the construction is completed, this will be the future workplace for Logistics.

About the job You will become part of a professional team of 12 employees (pharmaconomists and pharmacy assistants), who every day work to ensure high quality in the handling of medicines.

Experience from a hospital pharmacy is not a requirement – you will receive thorough training. It is however advantageous if you have experience with logistics, are familiar with IT and generally have good system understanding, as our work in the future will take place in several different systems. If you have knowledge of WMS systems and/or an understanding of integrations between WMS and ERP systems, it will be a clear advantage.

Your primary tasks You will work in an environment with variation and high quality in the tasks. Your main tasks will be to:

• Pick, pack and dispatch medicines to hospital wards – occasionally with manual lifting and work in refrigerated rooms.
• Contribute to optimizing warehouse processes with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Work in logistic IT systems, including upcoming WMS functionalities and system integrations in connection with our move into the new pharmaceutical warehouse

Region Zealand and the Capital Region will on January 1, 2027 become Region Østdanmark as a result of the health reform. Your employment area will be Region Østdanmark with all related organizational units.

Starting salary for employees covered by collective agreements

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

About the Hospital Pharmacy

The Hospital Pharmacy is an independent business area with 250 employees, delivering medicines, medication service and clinical pharmaceutical service to the hospitals in Region Zealand. We purchase medicines and also manufacture medicines for both stock and for the individual patient, especially chemotherapy for cancer patients. We handle medicines worth 1 billion DKK per year.
