About the job

Do you want to help ensure precision and quality in the build-up of a new production company?

At Nammo Denmark A/S we are in the process of establishing a new production organization in Elling. We are therefore looking for a Measurement Technician who will play an important role in building our quality function and help ensure that our measurements, measurement systems and control processes meet high requirements for precision, traceability and documentation.

You will play a central role in the interaction between quality and production, where your metrological competencies will contribute to stable processes, reliable measurement results and high-quality products.

About the job

As a Measurement Technician you will become part of our quality organization (SCA/QTC) and report to our Quality Manager.

You will be responsible for metrological activities, including measurements, verification, calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment and measurement systems. You will also work with vision-based control systems, where you must ensure that the systems function correctly and deliver valid results.

In addition you will act as a technical backup to our ballistic activities, including EPVAT tests and precision shooting. This means that you will, as needed, support the metrological and quality-related activities in connection with the tests and contribute to correct measurement, documentation and traceability.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

  • Conduct measurements, verifications and analyses of products and components.
  • Interpret and document measurement results and prepare measurement reports.
  • Ensure correct calibration, traceability and maintenance of measuring equipment.
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot measurement and vision systems.
  • Verify the accuracy and suitability of measurement systems for the specific control tasks.
  • Support production and the quality organization with metrological sparring.
  • Contribute with measurement data and technical documentation to quality control, FAI and product release.
  • Participate in quality investigations, root cause analyses and continuous improvement activities.
  • Prepare instructions and guide colleagues in the use of measuring equipment and measurement methods.

You will have a varied daily routine with both practical metrological tasks, technical problem solving and documentation.

About you

We envision that you have a technical education such as for example a Measurement Technician, Mechanical Technician, Industrial Technician or equivalent. Relevant practical experience can however also be the right background.

It is important that you have a good technical understanding and an interest in metrology, quality and precision.

We particularly emphasize that you

  • Have experience with metrology, quality control or verification in a production company.
  • Have knowledge of measuring equipment, measurement systems and calibration.
  • Can read and understand technical drawings, tolerances and measurement specifications.
  • Have experience with documentation and traceability of measurement results.
  • Work structured and analytically with attention to detail.
  • Have an interest in technical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Can kommunicate in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Can present a criminal record and obtain the necessary security clearance.

Experience with vision systems, camera and automated inspection systems will be an advantage, but is not a requirement.

As a person

You are thorough, responsible and quality-minded. You thrive working independently, but also know when it is important to involve colleagues and seek professional sparring.

You have a natural interest in understanding why measurement results look the way they do, and you take responsibility for following technical issues through to their conclusion.

At the same time you are a good team player who readily shares your knowledge and helps develop common working methods.

We offer

At Nammo Denmark you become part of a company in an exciting establishment and development phase. You will have the opportunity to influence the build-up of our metrological processes and help establish the foundation for a strong quality organization.

We offer

  • A central role in building a new production company.
  • Opportunity to influence and develop metrological processes and systems.
  • Close collaboration with quality, production and technical functions.
  • A workplace focused on safety, quality and professional development.
  • Good opportunities to apply your skills and develop with the organization.
