Machine operators

On behalf of Foresco DK A/S in Engesvang, Randstad is seeking two practically oriented machine operators/production workers.

Foresco is part of an international group and a leading supplier of pallets and wooden packaging. You will become part of a workplace with plenty of room, where thousands of pallets are produced and repaired daily.

The employment is a Try & Hire arrangement. This means that in the initial period you are employed as a temporary worker through Randstad, after which you will transfer to permanent employment with Foresco when the program has been completed successfully.

about the job

As a machine operator, your primary task will be to operate and monitor the machines in the pallet production. The work involves manually feeding wood into the machines and continuously checking for faults on the finished products. These are not high-tech facilities, and therefore there may be minor machine breakdowns. It is therefore expected that you can handle a bit of "hassle" in everyday life, where you troubleshoot the problem, press the right buttons and keep production going. Over time you will also be trained in lighter fault-finding tasks.

your profile

There are no specific requirements for your educational background, but your practical experience and approach to work are decisive.

• You have a good overview and experience in operating and monitoring machines from previous positions.
• You enjoy physical work and can remain calm when machines fail.
• You speak and understand English. It is an advantage if you understand Danish, but not a requirement.

• Working hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 (including two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute break).

Friday 07:00 - 12:15 (including one 15-minute break).

• Work clothes are provided from day one.
• Free catering in the form of daily breakfast as well as free coffee, tea and fruit.
• Employment is under the 3F TIP agreement.
