About the position

You will become the leader of an interdisciplinary group. We place importance on hiring engaged social and health care assistants, social and health care aides, resource coordinators, occupational/physiotherapists, nurses, and unskilled workers. In addition, there is a competency-developing nurse and a competency-developing occupational therapist or physiotherapist in the team, whose task is to carry out systematic and ongoing competency development of the staff. We place high value on professionalism, and on giving employees the opportunity to develop continuously within the organisation's core mission.

Leadership where interdisciplinary coordination of task solving is a fundamental prerequisite is essential for your approach.

An important task is to create the best possible life for the citizen, where the citizen can live as independently as possible, and have the opportunity to live the life they want and have goals for. We therefore integrate rehabilitation and interdisciplinary collaboration in all contexts.

The tasks in Care and Rehabilitation include providing care, treatment, assistance, rehabilitation and training to home-living citizens, and creating good and coherent citizen pathways that take as their starting point what is important to the citizen.

We place emphasis on good dialogue, culture and relationships, rehabilitation, care and competency development, with a basis in data-driven leadership. Care and Rehabilitation also has a strong focus on ongoing and systematic quality development of both the professional, the organizational and the citizen-experienced quality.

Important initiatives in Care and Rehabilitation include citizen education, welfare technology, collaboration with citizens’ families/networks, civil society / local communities, and ensuring that the right competencies are present in each citizen’s care path.

As a leader, your most important daily collaborators are the citizens, the citizens’ families/networks, employees, leadership colleagues and the practicing doctors. We seek a leader who both has an approachable and clear leadership style and can show direction for the staff in the team, and contribute to the strategic direction of the organization.

You will lead a team of permanent staff in collaboration with a deputy leader. It is emphasized that the team obtains a good interdisciplinary collaboration, works relationally in coordination, is welcoming, and can help to implement the aims behind the Elderly Law and an upcoming Health Reform.

In addition you will collaborate across the Health and Care areas, and annual theme days, network meetings and leadership gatherings are held.

About the place

Care and Rehabilitation Team Skødstrup in District North is part of the Department for Health and Care in Aarhus Municipality.

In Care and Rehabilitation there are three districts. District North consists of 11 interdisciplinary teams and four day centers. You will become part of a leadership group with 12 leaders and 12 deputy leaders, who together work strategically, health-professionally and practically to ensure coherent support to citizens in their own homes based on an interdisciplinary, coordinated and rehabilitative approach, where the citizen’s goals and wishes are the focal point.

The leadership group in District North is characterized by high professionalism, a strong collegial camaraderie and joint responsibility for both results and relationships. Based on relational coordination, we collaborate closely, help each other across and insist on joint solutions for the benefit of citizens, employees and the district’s development.

Care and Rehabilitation Team Skødstrup is based at Grenåvej 701, 8541 Skødstrup.

About 50 employees are employed for a citizen base of about 200 citizens.

Team Skødstrup participates in a close network collaboration with the three neighboring teams; Skæring, Hjortshøj and Risskov as well as the associated health units regarding concrete citizen pathways.

Candidate profile

Salary and employment terms

The position is intended to commence on January 1, 2027.

Salary and employment conditions are according to the applicable collective agreement. According to a pre-arranged agreement with the unions for managers in Aarhus Municipality, Health and Care, the annual salary for managers in home care is DKK 632,501 excluding pension. Final salary determination is made after negotiation with the union with negotiating rights based on qualifications.
